About Meaningful Travel China

The purpose of MTC is to link community service groups with Zigen recommended project work in China. Zigen gains donations and a more dedicated membership base, the tourists gain a “meaningful” experience, and the impoverished communities in China improve their quality of life through the community service project works.

 The Board and members and staff of ZigenHK manage MTC. MTC will coordinate directly with a local travel agent to develop itinerary and budget. MTC will also coordinate directly with Zigen to develop community service projects and budgets. MTC will pull these two components together, and present a combined itinerary for community service projects to schools, educational travel agencies, and other interested parties. MTC will manage the payments, and accept a small coordination fee to cover salary and marketing costs.
